Game Over! It's All Gone Pete Tong!

You may or may not be aware that UK Jazz Radio and it's controlling arm Europe Jazz Radio will soon be closing down, owing to a combination of factors. I am not 100% sure of the facts but it appears funding has fallen through and more importantly the health of the station controller Brian Soundy has taken a turn for the worse. Firstly, I would like to wish Brian a speedy and full recovery and thank him for giving air time to my shows, the next pint is definitely on me!
Secondly, I would like to thank all the artists and bloggers that have made my Jazz show what it is. You have provided me with superb  music that I have been very pleased to share with others. I hate to think how much money I have spent over the past 5 years with no return apart from the pleasure of playing Jazz. Thirdly I would like to thank Ray Porter my fellow blogger for playing fantastic shows week in week out and sharing some of his outstanding collection with the world.
I wish you all well in your careers and if some point in time I have made you smile or just as importantly a $ through sales then my job is done. I hope to travel a bit more in coming years and look forward to meeting some if not all of you.
I am going to take a few weeks off before looking for another outlet for my show but in the meantime a big thanks to you all.

Andy

CHEERS!

Final Playlist and links to any show archive will be posted in the comments section some time in the near future.
